SUPERVISOR PAT HERRITY represents the Springfield District (including the Clifton area) on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and has over 40 years of active business, sports, and civic community leadership and experience. First as a business and community leader, and now as a Supervisor, he has actively led efforts to implement common sense solutions to our pressing problems including reducing the tax burden on residents, addressing the increasing crime rates and focusing education resources on teachers and into classrooms. He is a balancing, common-sense voice on the Board and serves as Chair of the Board's Older Adults Committee and the Sports Tourism Task Force. He has been named the Best Public Servant in the Gazette Leader’s Best of the Best for the last 7 years. He is the only Supervisor to receive the President's Award from Fairfax County Federation of Teachers for his work supporting our teachers.

Stella Pekarsky serves in the State Senate, representing the 36th district, which is made up of western Fairfax County and includes Clifton. She is a former educator who also served on the Fairfax County School Board for 4 years. Stella was raised in Alexandria and graduated from George Mason University. Stella and her husband, both accomplished musicians, spend most of their free time shuttling their six kids to all their sports, activities, and hobbies!
